Create! Magazine

Create! Magazine was founded by artist Ekaterina Popova in 2013, originally known as FreshPaintMagazine. At the time, Kat was searching for her place in the art world after graduating with her BFA. After facing yet another job rejection, she decided to create her own platform.

Having struggled to navigate the art world and make a living as an artist, Kat spent the next decade investing in research, education, and coaching. Her dedication paid off, allowing her to sell and exhibit her art globally, build a strong collector base, create a six-figure business, co-found a gallery, write books, and become a certified master coach.

Through this journey, she has gained both practical tools and strategies as well as deep mindset insights to share with artists and creative entrepreneurs.

At Create! Magazine, we aim to empower you with resources, articles, and educational offerings to confidently navigate the art market and create a fulfilling life doing what you love. Our mission is to make the world a little happier and more creative than when we found it.
